A crochet wedding dress is created by using the fabric creation method of crochet.
Rather than cutting the dress from a pattern and fabric the dress is made with yarn and a hook, usually creating an openwork stitch or lace effect.
an example is on thr front page of our website, it is crocheted in an irish fine linen/cotton thread used together with a very fine ‘optical illusion’ thread which created various glimmering hues in different lights.
Another white linen dress and jacket is also featured.
The dresses involve long hours of careful craftmanship and often become heirloom pieces.

I am looking for a pattern for a crocheted wedding dress. My daughter wants me to crochet it for her. No wedding in the future, but she knows the time involved so she has asked for it now. Can any one help me. I would like it out of crochet cotton, but I could adjust the right pattern. I have been doing this a long time and am still looking for the right pattern.
